Engadine Tri Club - News

About Engadine Triathlon Club

Engadine Triathlon Club was established in 1993 and started as Engadine Gym Triathlon Club.  The patron from 1993 to 1997 was Steve Sproul.   In July 1997, it became Engadine Triathlon Club, and in 1999 Engadine Triathlon Club became incorporated.

Engadine Triathlon Club is a family focused social club and caters for all levels of fitness and abilities, with an emphasis on enjoyment and the encouragement of a healthy lifestyle.  Members are from 6 years old and up with ETC having approximately 120 current club members.

ETC is based at Engadine Pool on Anzac Ave, Engadine and meet there every Saturday morning at 7am (check website).  There are also other training sets throughout the week, and ETC have fully sanctioned club races throughout the year - Aquathons (swim/run), Duathlons (run/bike/run) and Triathlons (swim/bike/run).

ETC caters for juniors 6-18 years of age.  ETC, through its junior training and racing, promotes a non competitive, "do your Personal best (PB)", "encourage your fellow club mates", attitude!  The ETC juniors were successful in winning the NSW State Junior Series for 05/06.

We all started by having a go – some of us are fast, some are slow but we all enjoy ourselves.  So if you are interested in getting fit for summer, or challenging yourself, or looking for a healthy lifestyle, Swim, Bike, Run, Guaranteed fun!
