Long Course World Championship - ETC World Champions. Chris Stanton (20-24) and Chris Southwell (40-44) have won their age groups in the Long Course World Championship in Canberra today. We also had another 2 of our members who were also racing and both had excellent results. Sue O’hara finished 9th in the 4044 age group and Mark Warzuger finished in 13th 5054 age group. State Junior Series Forster – November 11 was race 3 in the SJS. ETC had 11 of our junior members take the trip to Forster to compete. The Edward sisters came home in 1st & 3rd place with little sister Amy taking the win. It was a great to see so many of our junior support this important series for the juniors. Race 4 on December 10th at Port Macquarie.

Congratulations to Tim A’hern for achieving his level 2 coaching certificate.

WA Ironman. Well done to Cameron James our only competitor in the WA Ironman. Cam came home in 11:46:06. Looks like a tough day on the run for Cam.

November 1st

State Junior Series

Round 1 was held in Gunnedah on the 22nd & 23rd October. First day being a time trial over each discipline and 2nd day Triathlons. We had 5 of our members participate over the weekend and did extremely well. Well done to Olivia & Thomas Ludington, Amy & Chloe Edwards and Blake Lucy. Results will be on the website soon.

Nepean Triathlon & Enticer

Last weekend the Enticer and Nepean Triathlon were on in Penrith. Saturday was the 3 Enticer races and we had 10 members competing over all distances. We had a couple of our members place in their age group and I would like to make a special mention to Stuart Ludington who completed his first ever triathlon and Donna Lloyd in her first external triathlon placed first in her age group, well done Stuart and all others that competed on the day. Sunday was Australia's oldest triathlon the Nepean Triathlon and round 1 of ETC "Triathlete of the year" points score. Once again we were well represented and also have some great results. Chris Southwell placed 6th overall and 2nd in his age group and Rob Hurley picked up a top 10 in his age group. Well done to all who competed. Results will be on the website very soon.
