Club Training Sessions

Our club Training co-ordinator for season 2012/13 is Leigh Gilbert.

The Club usually meets at 7.00 AM. The sessions vary on a weekly basis. We do a steady run to be conducted at your own pace and for your own duration (30 min up to approximately 60min).  The sessions are all led by Club volunteers.  No-one ever participates alone.

Cronulla Tri Club triathlon.  Meet at Sutherland bike track at 6.45am.  Race starts at 7.30am. Distance – 400m swim, 15km ride, 4km run. Cost - $8 for seniors, $5 for juniors or $15 for family

Saturday, 26th Wollongong Aquathon see www.aquathon.com.au (Club Champion event)  Adults and children distances available.  BBQ (and cricket match) at the Tudjman’s house afterwards.  Bring your own drinks.  Food supplied by Engadine Tri Club.  RSVP to Stephen and Kim phone 0467 496 506 by 23rd Jan.  7AM

Engadine Pool, Aquathon, 400m swim, 5k run. Handicap and pointscore.  Short course swim & run available for juniors.

Saturday, 9th Bike ride (Adults only).  Waterfall hill billy goat time trial. Meet at Engadine Pool. (Swim, run & skills training available at Engadine pool for juniors). 7AM  
Saturday, 16th Gunnamatta baths, ½ hour swim, run Nicholson Pde, The Esplanade to Wanda, back to Gunnamatta

16th & 17th Huskisson Triathlon weekend.  (Long course is one of our Club Champion events.) Good luck to our members who are competing.

Junior Participation

In Training - The Club welcomes all juniors at club training. As club sets are held often held in on-road environments and therefore in the interest of the juniors' health and safety, they must be supervised by an accompanying responsible adult at all times. At the discretion of the junior coordinator, juniors over the age of 16 may participate unaccompanied.

In Club Races - Sanctioned club races (Aquathons & Triathlons) which specifically cater for junior are held in off-road environments. A responsible adult must remain present for the duration of the race, but need not accompany the junior during the race.
